Liability Waiver and Release of Responsibility

By checking the acceptance box and submitting the registration form, I HEREBY DECLARE that:

1. I have carefully read the Rules, Regulations, Code of Conduct and all official information related to GRAVEL MEXICO 2026, and I fully accept all conditions required to participate.
2. I acknowledge that GRAVEL MEXICO 2026 is an endurance cycling event with inherent risks, taking place on gravel roads, trails, open highways, streets and crossings, under variable weather conditions.
3. I declare that I am physically and medically fit to participate, and that I do so voluntarily and solely at my own risk.
4. I assume all risks inherent to my participation, including falls, collisions, injuries, mechanical failures, navigation errors, traffic, pedestrians, animals and weather conditions.
5. I release and hold harmless the GRAVEL MEXICO Organizing Committee, its staff, volunteers, sponsors and authorities from any liability for damages or losses that I may suffer before, during or after the event, including travel to and from the venue.
6. I acknowledge that the event is held in a self-supported format and that I am responsible for my hydration, nutrition, equipment, bike maintenance, navigation and decisions along the route.
7. I agree to always respect traffic laws, the instructions of the organization staff and local authorities, and to behave respectfully towards other participants and the local community.
8. I authorize the use of my image, name and voice in photographs, videos and other audiovisual material captured during the event, for the purpose of promotion, communication and documentation of GRAVEL MEXICO 2026, with no financial compensation.
9. I accept that, in case of a medical emergency, first aid and event staff may arrange my transfer to a medical facility and that I am responsible for any costs related to such care.
10. I declare that all information provided in my registration is true and correct, and that any omission or false statement is my sole responsibility.
11. I understand and accept that the organization may modify, postpone or cancel the event due to force majeure, extreme weather conditions or any situation that may compromise participants’ safety.
12. This electronic acceptance has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature, in accordance with the applicable laws.
